This stately brick townhome in Yorkville was updated to meet the needs of a young professional who desired a more streamlined interior to showcase his growing collection of contemporary art. Rooms were opened up, new oak floors replaced dated tile and plaster mouldings were pared down to create an overall sense of quiet luxury and refinement.
The kitchen and master ensuite bath were completely redone using graphic mosaic tile, polished stone and custom cabinetry in rich mahogany, ebony and soft grey. Furniture pieces have a solid, masculine bent, done in a palette of grey, charcoal, dusty blue and jet black.
